  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  We are looking for a IT Distribution and Warehouse Management Specialist / Analyst for a Permanent position based in Cape Town.

  Responsibilities:

  • Manage use of the ERP(BPCS),WHM(WM9),EDI and Distribution(Hi Volume)/Inventory system for the Company, including system parameters and setting, system processes, system standards and functions used
  • Manage and Design the integration between ERP, WHM and other systems
  • Data Integrity of the system
  • Implement new modules/functionality across Southern Africa
  • Design  and or create,  reports/programs for the company with ongoing maintenance
  • Project Management for upgrades or new implantations
  • Manage ERP,WHM and Distribution(Hi Volume)/Inventory modifications
  • User Training, refining  system and operational policies and procedures when required

  Key Performance Areas:

  • BPCS â?? Manage Integrity and smooth operation of the ERP system.
  • WHM9 â?? Manage Integrity and smooth operation of the Warehouse management system.
  • INFOLOG â?? Manage Integrity and smooth operation of the Warehouse management system.
  • HI-VOLUME â?? Manage Integrity and Smooth operation of the Distribution management system.
  • IDX â?? Create and maintain Current Interfaces
  • Transport Costing â?? Support business and maintaining of the Automatic Purchase order creation
  • EDI â?? Manage Integrity and Smooth operation of the EDI system.
  • User Support and Training; Daily support to all BPCS Inventory, Warehouse management, EDI  and Distribution systems to users and on-going user training when necessary. Regular site visits to perform system training and ensure that company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to
  • Reporting; Ensure reports used for operation purposes are accurate, and support each other
  • Modifications â?? Design where applicable and maintain.
  • Auditing â?? Preparation of information as required by internal and external Auditors
  • Distribution Sales, Inventory and Warehouse management Month End (Including African Countries); Assist with closing systems for month end.
  • Debtors Month End (Including African Countries); Assist with closing systems for month end.
  • IT and Supply chain cross functional; Work with Supply Chain to determine and prioritize requirements to meet changing business demands and operation.
  • System Documentation; User training manuals to be created and/or updated on various systems.
