JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the various Business Units with regards to
installing, trouble-shooting and maintaining computer hardware, software and equipment and supporting end users.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for setting up employees with hardware, software and various Information Technology
equipment.
• Assist employees by trouble-shooting to identify errors and come up with solutions to problems.
• Providing remote support.
• Field support in the greater Gauteng area.
• Document all network issues and changes
• Ensure service delivery timelines are adhered to.
• Logging faults with vendor as required.
• Assisting network administrators.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Participation in various projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Between 4 and 5 years’ experience in Lan/Wan IT field
• A+ and N+ certified.
• Valid Drivers License
• IT diploma or degree advantage
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services available and applicable to LAN/WAN systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of computing systems, electronics and software
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel
