  POSITION INFO:
  The Role:

  We are looking for an IT Finance, Costing Procurement Specialist/ Analyst for a Permanent position based in Cape Town.

  Responsibilities:

  • Manage use of the ERP(BPCS), with emphasis on Costing and Financial applications, and sub-system integration to the General Ledger
  • Internal BPCS consultant â?? advise on how to perform new, unusual processes or to identify and troubleshoot results in the GL or a report
  • Provide guidance to business in terms of better control and monitoring of operations and processes
  • Advise and implement new process flows for new and changed operations
  • Ensure Data Integrity of the ERP and related sub-systems â?? such as WM9, GMP, Hi-Volume and Debtors
  • Implement new modules/functionality across Southern Africa
  • Design  and or create,  reports/programs for the company with ongoing maintenance
  • Project Management for upgrades or new implantations
  • Manage ERPLX RPG modifications in BPCS
  • Manage RPG integration programs into BPCS â?? Debtors, Inventory, Costing
  • User Training, refining  system and operational policies and procedures when required

  Key Performance Areas:

  • BPCS â?? Manage Integrity and smooth operation of the ERP system
  • WHM â?? Assist with integration with WMS systems
  • HI-VOLUME â?? Assist with integration and data integrity with ERP system
  • User Support and Training - Daily support to all BPCS Inventory, Warehouse management, EDI  and Distribution systems to users and on-going user training when necessary. Regular site visits to perform system training and ensure that company policies and procedures are understood and adhered to
  • Reporting - Ensure reports used for operation purposes are accurate, and support each other
  • Modifications â?? Design where applicable and maintain
  • Auditing â?? Preparation of information as required by internal and external Auditors (mid- and year-end),assist auditors with queries during mid-and year-end audits
  • Financial Month End (Including African Countries) - Assist with closing systems for month end
  • IT and Finance cross functional - Work with Finance to determine and prioritize requirements to meet changing business demands and operation
  • System Documentation - User training manuals to be created and/or updated on various systems
  • Manage ERP related projects - New implementations, upgrades and major changes / enhancements to existing systems
