IT Infrastructure Manager (Retail)

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a candidate who has gained experience working within a multi-national organisation and virtual teams.

POSITION INFO:

You will be accountable for the performance of all infrastructure services used or hosted by the site. Act as the single focal point of contact for any local infrastructure issue and Service Management Processes.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience

• Degree in Information Systems OR Equivalent/Comparable qualification
• Min 5 years’ Infrastructure Management, project, service, vendor and team management experience
• Solid understanding of an overall technical environment
• Firm knowledge of IT strategy and architectural standards
• Strong customer relationship management experience
• Prior experience working in an international environment with virtual teams
• Networking Technologies (CISCO Technologies, Firewalls, Routing)
• Experienced in Backup and Recovery
• Working knowledge of Data Center Management
• Working knowledge of IP Telephony

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create and Maintain IT Infrastructure Procedures
• Directs the site infrastructure team to prioritise and coordinate delivery responsibilities
• Coordinates local input quality, compliance and security standards and delivery of associated corrective infrastructure actions.
• Ensures infrastructure standards, policies, processes and guidelines are followed.
• Maintains infrastructure inventory/assets.
• Conducts regular vendor service reviews.
• Requests and coordinates Root Cause Analysis (RCA) if necessary.
• Continuously monitors resolution of open incidents and escalates when appropriate.
• Monitor the divisional Budget monthly
• Support Audit and JSOX self-assessment and review.
• Support the remediation of Risk Mitigation Plan, Operations Activities and ensure sustainability
• IT Change Request Management and Implementation.
• IT Call reporting and tracking Management
• Onboarding of users timeously
• System availability
• IT Infrastructure Upgrade and Project Implementation.
