IT Installer - Manufacturing Environment

POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, technically proficient and calm-under-pressure IT Installer to support daily IT operations, including hardware installation, network infrastructure, CCTV and fibre cabling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment! Essential Qualifications: National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF 4) - essential 3 years of experience in an IT environment Minimum 2 years'' exposure in IT hardware, Network Infrastructure, CCTV and Fibre installation Essential Experience: LAN\/WAN infrastructure installation and troubleshooting IT hardware installation and configuration CCTV system installation Fibre and CAT6 cabling installation and termination Operation of splicing equipment and power tools Stock control and equipment management Key Responsibilities: Installation & Cabling : Install, terminate and test CAT6 fibre cabling Mount and connect devices such as cameras, Wi-Fi access points, switches and network cabinets Pull, route, label and secure cables according to standards and site requirements Terminate cables in patch panels, cabinets and equipment rooms Fault-Finding & Maintenance: Diagnose and repair faults in cabling, devices or system configurations Maintain and record equipment and stock levels Support continuous process improvement initiatives Ensure all installations meet quality and safety standards
