SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of information technology within their trading operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, implementing secure and scalable technology solutions, and managing IT projects and vendor relationships to support business goals.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure & End-User Support:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, storage, and telecoms).
- Ensure that IT systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with operational needs.
- Manage end-user support and third-party service providers for consistent IT service delivery.
System Administration:
- Administer enterprise systems, including ERP, WMS, CRM, and trading platforms.
- Apply best practices for system performance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
IT Security & Compliance:
- Enforce IT security policies and controls to protect sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with internal audits, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and cybersecurity training across the organization.
Strategic Planning & Leadership:
- Partner with senior management to develop the IT strategy, aligned with business growth.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement through technology.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team or vendor-based support structure.
Project Management:
- Manage IT projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Communicate project status and risks effectively to all stakeholders.
Vendor Management:
- Oversee IT vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor performance, pricing, and contractual compliance, addressing any issues promptly.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Degree preferred).
5+ years of experience in IT management roles, ideally in the trading or financial services industry.
Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and cybersecurity.
Experience managing enterprise systems like ERP, WMS, CRM, and trading platforms.
Proven success in delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL are advantageous.
