IT Manager

SUMMARY:
The IT Manager will be responsible for the planning, delivery, security and ongoing management of IT systems and services across their SA operations. Ensuring stable, secure and cost-effective IT services IT services that enable business objectives, while leading a local IT Team and managing vendors, projects and compliance.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the high availability, performance and reliability of all IT services, including networks, servers, endpoints, applications and cloud platforms
• Manage on-premise, hybrid and/or cloud infrastructure - Microsoft Azure, M365, and AWS
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls to protect systems, data and users
• Translate the business strategy into a local IT roadmap aligned with group or regional directives
• Lead IT projects, including upgrades, migration and new system implementation
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers and system integrators
• Control IT budgets, forecast expenditure and track ROI technology investments
• Lead, mentor and develop the local IT team (support and infrastructure applications)

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related
• 7-10 years' experience in IT, and 3-5 years in IT management or a lead role
• Strong experience in infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and user support
• ITIL Foundation certificate
• Microsoft (Azure / M365), AWS or equivalent certificates
• Cybersecurity, governance or project management certificates
