A well-established and fast-paced organisation is looking for a seasoned IT Manager to take control of its full technology environment. This is not a passive oversight role—you will be the driving force behind IT operations, infrastructure stability, and system optimisation across the business. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all IT systems—from ERP to infrastructure—run efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business goals.

The environment is operationally intense and requires someone who is both technically strong and commercially aware. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in taking ownership, solving complex problems, and building reliable, scalable IT environments that support growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of the organisation’s IT ecosystem, including infrastructure, ERP systems, networks, and end-user support
Lead, manage, and deliver IT projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met
Oversee ERP systems (including performance, upgrades, integrations, and access control) to ensure operational and financial alignment
Ensure high system availability, network performance, and cybersecurity across the business
Drive continuous improvement across IT processes, systems, and service delivery
Manage external IT service providers, ensuring SLA adherence, performance, and cost optimisation
Oversee helpdesk and user support functions, ensuring high service levels and minimal downtime
Implement and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies
Partner with business units, including finance and operations, to support key processes such as reporting cycles and stock management

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

Completed Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Experience:

5–8 years’ experience within IT, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role
Proven experience managing full IT environments, including infrastructure, ERP systems, and support functions
Strong background in ERP systems (Syspro experience highly advantageous)
Experience managing IT vendors, budgets, and service delivery

Skills:

Strong technical expertise across networking, systems administration, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
Solid project management capability with a track record of successful IT implementations
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
High proficiency in IT governance, risk management, and compliance
