IT Manager

SUMMARY:
IT Managers in Durban it is your turn. My client in the Logistics/distribution space is looking to employ a seasoned IT Manager. The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing first-line support on all network connections, application support, and user support while project managing the implementation of new applications for the head office.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

• Manage local support team with all network connection problems (WAN/LAN); wireless/wired/Vodaphone (Firewall, switch, Wi-Fi)
• Offer support on any kind of questions/issues users have
• Troubleshooting Basic computer issues
• IT Administration
• Ensuring backups are verified and correctly run
• Stock check and inventory management of equipment
• Lead the technology strategic planning and execution
• Develop and lead the cross-functional portfolio management process
• Provide business analysis, project management & consultancy
• Lead regional service delivery management
• Manage the Infrastructure services and support
• Ensure end-user technology compliance
• Manage the IT services Desk
• Submit monthly reports
• Office 365 Administration
• ERP Management

Qualifications:

• MCSE or similar Qualification
• 5 years experience in a similar role
• Experience with Mac is essential
• Must come from Logistic/Distribution’s environment

Skills:

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Business central
• Sound knowledge of WAN and LAN routing and internet connectivity
• Knowledge of server networks (workgroup, domains, mail, and terminal services)
• Knowledge of storage and backup technologies
• Knowledge on Office 365 and exchange
