SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a candidate who will be responsible to partner with business and leadership to manage and direct all IT resources to achieve the company strategic objectives. Experience in business process analysis, defining implementing user requirements and IT projects is essential

POSITION INFO:

Essential Education, Skills and Experience

• Matric or Equivalent
• Related Degree or Equivalent /Comparable qualification (Master’s Degree Advantageous)
• Minimum 7 years’ in a similar position
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing teams
• Experience in business process analysis, defining implementing user requirements and IT projects
• Broad interest in and knowledge of IT
• Strong in strategic topics, have the ability and experience to add value to vision and strategy
• Good facilitator in getting commitment and buy-in

Roles and Responsibilities

• Represent business requirements and expectations on IT towards the organisation and represent IT on a functional level.
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in the specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services.
• Strategy/ Innovation
• Align IT Strategy and Budget in coordination and alignment with Business / Function ambitions.
• Ensure coherence in the strategic development of IT in line with agreed Enterprise Architecture.
• Portfolio and lifecycle management of local applications.
• Ensure all IT demand is assessed; aligned with business strategy and architecture
• Perform project scoping assessments to determine the feasibility of initiatives
• Develop project estimates & complete financial model
• Manage, track and report on IT Budget and realization.
• Local vendor, contract and asset management.
