IT Project Manager

Company:

Our client is a market leading, JSE listed company, based in Johannesburg

Remuneration:

Total Cost to Company - R600k to R700k per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Group IT Executive, the successful candidate will:

• Plan, organise, control and coordinate IT projects within the Group
• Direct, coordinate, implement, and complete of projects aligned with company strategy
• Ensure that deadlines and budgets are met

Key Performance Areas:

• Project scoping, planning, controlling and implementation
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards for all projects
• Ensure adherence to Company, departmental and project governance processes and practices
• Project problem solving, decision making and risk management
• Contribute to the budgeting process and ensure adherence to budgets
• Develop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and ensure that outstanding service levels are achieved

Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes Required:

• Minimum NQF 4
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in the IT industry
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in similar position
• Project Management qualification
• Excellent knowledge of project management software and methodologies
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience in managing system integration projects
• Customer driven
• Focus on excellence and getting it right first time
• Deadline driven
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
