JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client based in Port Elizabeth has an IT Quality Assurance Engineer position available in their organization.

Required experience and skills:

2+ years of experience in delivering automated test cases, testing frameworks, tools,
and services using OOP languages (PHP or Java preferred).
Experience in creating the tools and tests for API testing.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality as part of the delivery
lifecycle.
Possess strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
Understand the concepts of virtualization, micro services architecture, cloud and
SaaS.
You use your critical judgement in the workplace.

Advantageous:

Relevant tertiary education such as B.Sc. majoring in computer science.
Experience creating mobile automation solutions.
Experience in delivering automatic tests and testing solutions for rich UI (Selenium
WebDriver).
Experience creating and maintaining test jobs to be used for continuous integration
(Ex.: Jenkins, Concourse).
ISTQB Certifications in testing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Testing work in the team and assist other teams as well depending on workload.
Mentor the other QAs on building automated acceptance and functional tests using Codeception and Selenium.
WebDriver integration.
Lead the way in testing automation.
