IT Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client based in Port Elizabeth has an IT Quality Assurance Engineer position available in their organization.

Required experience and skills:

• 2+ years of experience in delivering automated test cases, testing frameworks, tools,
  and services using OOP languages (PHP or Java preferred).
•  Experience in creating the tools and tests for API testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality as part of the delivery
  lifecycle.
• Possess strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
• Understand the concepts of virtualization, micro services architecture, cloud and
  SaaS.
• You use your critical judgement in the workplace.

Advantageous:

• Relevant tertiary education such as B.Sc. majoring in computer science.
•  Experience creating mobile automation solutions.
•  Experience in delivering automatic tests and testing solutions for rich UI (Selenium
  WebDriver).
• Experience creating and maintaining test jobs to be used for continuous integration
  (Ex.: Jenkins, Concourse).
• ISTQB Certifications in testing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Testing work in the team and assist other teams as well depending on workload.
• Mentor the other QAs on building automated acceptance and functional tests using Codeception and Selenium.
• WebDriver integration.
• Lead the way in testing automation.
