POSITION INFO:

Our Client a Global Tech firm is seeking a IT Security Operation Manager to join their team remotely on a contract basis for 10 to 12 months. They offer stability, exposure, growth, attractive salary and an excellent working environment.

Our client requires a resource in IT Security that would be able to lead, guide and manage the companies IT Security Operations in terms of:

• Risk and Threat - modelling and analysis
• Threat assessment and mitigation plans/action coordination
• Vulnerability Management planning and monitoring
• Cyber and Security Incident Management, recovery, prevention, and reporting
• Modelling – solution, and benefits.
• User Experience Design.
• Conformance Review.
• Quality Design, Standards & Assurance.
• Process Improvement.
• SDLC methodology.
• A good communicator and team player must be able to work in a dynamic team.
• Other – Security Administration, IT Infrastructure, Incident Management, Problem Management,
• Database Administration, IT Security principles, IT Security Standards, Network Design, Analytics,
• Penetration testing, Methods and Tools, Configuration Management, Policy Awareness, Business, Risk Management, etc.

 Requirements

• Fluency in respect to key security technologies in the Access Governance, Access control (Active Directory security), Network protection, EDR, DLP and Vulnerability Management domains.
• Solid understanding of Risk Management and Cybersecurity threat analysis and response
• methods and frameworks
• Solid understanding of the PCI/DSS standard and certification process;
• Cloud Security Management
• Data and Threat analysis.
• Security Architecture evaluation and design.
• Security lifecycle management.
• Security Operations and Response management
• Experience in staff and functional team management – direct staff compliment 4 to 8
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services industry.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience and be able to demonstrate IT Security Operations Management capability. This requirement must be considered part of the submission for this role.

 Qualification''s requirements:

• Diploma or university degree in the field of computer science
• CISSP, CEH or similar
• The role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•  Provide input into and manage cost centre forecasting, budgeting, cost management, cost optimisation and reporting

• Develop and maintain good stakeholder relationships

• Development Processes: Build a high-performance team through regular individual and team engagement sessions. Coach and develop to ensure talent retention

 Deliverables

• The deliverables for this RFQ are as follow:
• Provide a competent IT Security Operations Manager as detailed in 3.1.
• Management of the performance and deliverables of the resource in conjunction with the relevant management structure.
