JOB DESCRIPTION:

Description:

This role is the guardian of our information and our clients’ information that is entrusted with us - the information. This role has to ensure our organization’s immune system, the information security, is in optimal health - no viruses, no worms, information is not stolen, nothing is maliciously implanted or replaced. This is done by:

Providing information security services and advice that allows our clients to sleep easy at night, knowing that their business information is safe and secure,

Administering and controlling all security functions and compliance in the company and divisions.

Education:

Grade 12.
Any security product qualifications preferred, any major vendors, spam, firewall management, antivirus, NIPS, HIPS.
At least one general security qualification required.
CISSA, towards CISSP.
CISM.
Information Security Management
Security+

Must have knowledge in the following:

Pan Testing
Information Security Best Practices knowledge.
In depth security reporting.
Working understanding of Networking principles and methodologies.
At least 3 years in technical security administration position.
PowerShell or batch scripting experience will be an advantage.
