POSITION INFO:
Division: WHC IT

Main purpose of the job:

• Lead and mature the company’s IT security and infrastructure capabilities across on premise, hosted, and cloud environments.
• Ensure secure, resilient, and efficient operation of server platforms and networks (LAN, WAN, Wi Fi), aligned to business objectives, risk appetite, and compliance requirements

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s IT security and infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
• Manage the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard company assets, data, and systems
• Evaluate, select, and deploy new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure performance, scalability, and security
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting of security breaches or vulnerabilities
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and incident response exercises to identify and mitigate potential threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security and infrastructure initiatives across the organization
• Manage and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud environments
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance security posture and infrastructure Efficiency
• Manage and maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, regulatory requirements, compliance and advancements in IT security and infrastructure
• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
• Lead the end-to-end vendor management lifecycle, including selection, negotiation, onboarding, performance evaluation, and contract renewal/termination.
• Develop and implement comprehensive vendor management strategies to optimize cost, quality, and service delivery
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and value creation
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to vendor management and financial operations
• Prepare and present regular reports on vendor performance, budget status, and risk assessments

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science/Information Systems or related field

• More than 5 years in infrastructure/security engineering or operations and more than 2 years in a Management/Lead role including:
• Hands-on administration of servers, clusters, networks, and security tools
• Designing/operating hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
• Leading incidents, audits, and remediation
• Experience in leading security incident response, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives
• Deep understanding of network architecture, cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, vendor and budget management

• Certifications in:
• Security: Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CISSP, CCSP, AZ-500 (Azure Security), or equivalent
• Infrastructure/Network: CCNA/CCNP, Mikrotik MTCNA, CompTIA Network+, VMware VCP, HPE SimpliVity, Microsoft/Windows Server, Linux, Azure/GCP/AWS Associate/Professional
• ITIL Foundation for service management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment
• Ability to exercise discretion, work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must have a high level of customer service orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
