SUMMARY:
Our IT support department in Benoni is looking for an experienced technician to provide service desk support to end users.

POSITION INFO:

Tasks:

Provide IT support to end users:

Resolve helpdesk tickets within SLA
Provide telephonic and remote support
Perform Ad hoc tasks

Maintain IT network:

Set up hardware
Install and maintain cabling
Set up new networks

Working hours:

Mon – Fri (08:00 – 17:00)
Shift work (07:00 – 14:00)
Standby shifts

Essential Qualifications:

Matric Certificate
A+ Certificate
N+ Certificate

Essential Experience:

1 years’ experience in IT Support
1Years’ experience in hardware
1 Years’ experience in operating and application systems
Minimum of 1 years’ experience in software
General experience in Linux and Windows

Knowledge and Skills:

Working knowledge of electronic equipment
Workable knowledge of Helpdesk systems
Application of Microsoft Office and Linux software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent telephone etiquette
Ability to provide technical support telephonically/remotely
Problems solving skills
Microsoft Applications
SharePoint Experience
