IT Systems Engineer (Tier 1)
Are you a hands-on IT support specialist with strong technical skills, project implementation experience, and a passion for solving problems? A dynamic team in Bellville is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer (T1) to provide top-tier support across hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments.

What you’ll be doing:
Responding to and managing support tickets with precision and professionalism
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux
Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
Participating in IT project implementations and client onboarding
Handling escalations, major incidents, and root cause analysis
Delivering exceptional customer service and clear technical communication
Maintaining documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
Providing on-site support and adhering to client protocols

What you’ll need:
Matric or NQF equivalent
A+ and N+ (or equivalent)
Microsoft MCSA or MCSE
3+ years’ experience in IT support, field support, or service desk roles
Proven experience in IT project implementation and client environment setup
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud-based services
Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT5 frameworks (certification is a plus)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
