JOB SUMMARY:
Our client operating within the Engineering and Manufacturing Sector is seeking to appoint a methodical, proactive, intelligent, and energetic IT Systems Integration Engineer.

Location: Northern Suburbs

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric
A BSc Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or BComm Business Information Systems (BIS) Degree
Experience in Manufacturing environment & ERP systems
5-8 years’ experience in a development/ integration role

Duties:

Systems Implementation:

Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
Lead projects related to systems implementation, upgrades or changes in collaboration with relevant departments.
Drive technical design and implement integrations between companies’ internal and external IT Application Systems, such as, but not limited to, Syspro, VIP, Solid edge, SQL, Power-BI.

ERP System: SYSPRO

Development of the ERP system.
Collaborate with Finance manager to ensure correct functioning of stock and stock control systems
Collaborate with Finance manager to ensure correct ERP (SYSPRO) system functioning with relation to all transactions.
Maintain SYSPRO responsibilities and security with respective personnel
Assist department managers with SYSPRO interaction to ensure that correct and reliable reports and measures are in place with ERP.

Reporting & staff management

Liaise with management on reporting requirements
Ensure that IT team adhere to job specification relating to:
- Systems
- Reporting
- Feasibility studie

IT infrastructure

Manage IT infrastructure service provider portfolio (Hardware, end user requirements, camera systems, server maintenance, networks).
