SUMMARY:
DBN000117: Import Procurement Specialist - Kliprivier

Purpose of the Job:
Seeking a strategic thinker to optimize sourcing, manage imports, and drive cost-saving initiatives through smart procurement and supply chain efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
Computer literate (MS Office and Excell)
Knowledge of Microsoft D365

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of International Markets.
Maintain strong relationship with key suppliers.
Conduct in-depth market research.
Sourcing of steel products locally and internationally
Manage the full import process.
Maintain a working knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures.
Monitor global market trends, steel pricing and tariffs.
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting and data management.
Preliminary costing and feedback to stakeholders.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and local authorities as SARS and ITAC to ensure full compliance with import regulations.
