JOB SUMMARY:
An opportunity has arisen for an Import and Export Operational Controller with a client within the automotive sector, based in Kempton Park, Gauteng.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

- Assisting on customs’ inspections & auditing
- Arrange booking & prepare all Export/Import documentation
- Pre-alerts for all Exports/Imports shipments
- Complete SADC/DA65/SAD500 documents
- Resolve customs queries
- Suppliers’ management skill
- Supply management with updates on shipments
- Updating weekly and daily shipping schedule
- Warehouse management skill (CCA & OS)

Requirements:

- Must have experience in all different modes of transport (Air, Sea, Road, Courier)
- Able to handle files from, start to end including invoices
- Need to know how to process all different certificates on the export
- Need to have Import permit requirement knowledge
- Able to draw out the SOP for different shipment and cases handling
- Certificate in Imports, Exports
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Import & export within the industry
