SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a Group Financial Controller

POSITION INFO:

As Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of the finance function, driving strategy execution, enhancing governance, and delivering financial insight to support business growth and operational excellence. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative, results-driven environment where you will contribute to the ongoing success of the South African business.

Duties:

Lead the full finance function, including financial reporting, monthly management accounts, and group reporting
Drive implementation of short- and long-term strategic business plans across the local operation
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and deliver insightful variance analysis and performance reporting
Oversee all audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
Evaluate business projects and support commercial decision-making, including post-implementation reviews
Strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and continuously improve business processes
Partner with operations on cost optimisation, procurement initiatives, and overall business performance

Education and experience:

CA(SA) or CIMA
15+ years’ experience, including at least 2–3 years in a senior finance leadership role
Experience within automotive, FMCG or manufacturing
