SUMMARY:
A well-established and dynamic organization located in the East Rand is seeking to appoint an experienced Imports Administrator with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
Valid Driver’s License and reliable own transport
Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills
Solid understanding of international shipping procedures and customs clearance
In-depth knowledge of SARS, customs regulations, and clearing documentation
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in filing, record-keeping, and general administration
Experience in purchasing and order processing
Strong knowledge of import documentation and invoicing processes
Coordination of freight and clearing activities
Exposure to warehouse operations and receiving processes
Internal sales support experience
Ability to track and support the delivery of imported stock for internal use
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of accuracy in data entry and document handling
Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
Excellent coordination between suppliers, service providers, and internal departments
Familiarity with import scheduling, costings, and GRV (Goods Received Voucher) procedures
