Inbound Logistics Manager – Cold Chain Dynamics

SUMMARY:
As the Inbound Logistics Manager, one will be expected to ensure the management of the best possible inventory holding and inbound logistics management into the SA and SADC markets to meet the required sales forecast at all times in accordance with relevant Global and Local SOPs and requirements.

POSITION INFO:

Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates

Candidates in the Pharma industry who are used to cold chain dynamics will be required.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning
• Policy and Procedure Management
• Operations Planning and Management
• 3PL Management
• Inventory and Logistics Management
• Reporting
• Staff Leadership and Management

Minimum Requirements:

• NQF 7/8 in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Finance or similar is required
• 7 Years’ experience in Supply Chain Management, specific to the Pharma, cold chain industry is required
• At least 2 years staff management experience is required.

Must have Knowledge of:

• Inventory Management (Cold chain industry)
