• Matric (Grade 12) is essential
• RE5 Certificate (as per FSCA regulatory requirements)
• NQF Level 5 Qualification in Financial Planning or equivalent recognised by the FSCA
• Class of Business (COB) Certification relevant to product categories being advised on
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Financial Advisor (independent or tied)
• A valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
• Access to a laptop and stable internet connection
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of regulatory bodies including the FSCA, FAIS Act, and FICA requirements

• Conduct detailed financial needs analyses for individuals and businesses.
• Provide holistic financial advice, including retirement planning, investment strategies, risk cover, estate planning, and wealth creation.
• Build and maintain a strong client portfolio through networking, referrals, and lead generation.
• Stay updated with relevant legislation, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and ensure all documentation is compliant with regulatory standards.
• Present and sell appropriate financial products and services from approved providers.
• Follow up regularly with clients to review financial plans and adjust strategies as necessary.
