SUMMARY:
Our client, a national electrical wholesaler, is seeking a motivated, goal-orientated Industrial & Automation Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and market expansion through strategic channel development, partner recruitment and enablement across South Africa.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute channel sales strategies for the industrial and automation market. Identify, recruit, onboard and develop distributors, system integrators, resellers, panel builders and other channel partners. Build strong, long-term partner and customer relationships, providing technical support, training and sales enablement. Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities across industries including mining, manufacturing, food & beverage, automotive, energy and construction. Achieve sales targets, manage pipelines and forecasts, monitor partner performance and drive cross-selling opportunities. Conduct joint sales calls, presentations, customer visits and partner training nationally. Provide technical expertise across LV power distribution, motor control\/protection, VSDs, soft starters, UPS and related solutions. Review specifications and projects, providing cost-effective advice on feasibility, efficiency and performance. Monitor technological, legislative and industry developments. Collaborate with suppliers, branches, procurement, marketing, finance and senior management to support sales growth and stock availability. Requirements 3-5 years' industrial automation sales experience, including 2-3 years in channel sales or partner management. Proven track record of achieving\/exceeding sales targets. Strong knowledge of the South African industrial market and automation technologies. Excellent technical, communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical, strategic and business acumen, with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills. CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce. Willingness to travel extensively throughout South Africa and internationally when required. Valid driver's licence and responsible driving record.
