JOB SUMMARY:
Industrial Automation Technician/Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an industrial Automation Technician/Engineer for our client, an Industrial Electrical Engineering company specialising in all industrial electronic products and services based in Randburg. The successful candidate will come with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Automation and PLC.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Requirements:

Essential: A National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or Instrumentation and PLC.
5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation and PLC.
Essential: PLC programming.
Willing to work overtime and standby when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In charge of performing site visits.
Supporting new machine builds, installations, and modifications.
Suggesting and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes, information, and procedures.
Exploring and implementing new ways to automate systems.
Designing and testing automation equipment and processes.
Perform PLC programming of new automated components.
Identifying quality issues and writing reports.
Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development.
