JOB DESCRIPTION:

Industrial Chemical Sales Representative

Area: Kempton Park, Gauteng

Package: Basic R25000 p/m plus commission, plus a company vehicle and med aid and pension and cell phone allowance

Overview: Achieve Sales targets, action plans and goals as set by management, by effectively servicing existing customers, acquiring new customers’, and increasing sales

Duties:

Servicing existing and new customers effectively by maintaining a regular call pattern
Forming a dynamic business relationship with existing as well as new customers.
Acquire new customers and new business
Increase sales at existing customers
Ensure that customers have sufficient stock at all times
Problem solving
Maintain a professional business attitude in all daily transactions
Maintain sound administration practices i.e. reports

Qualifications and experience:

Minimum requirement - Grade 12
A sales/marketing and / or chemical qualification would be advantageous
Valid unendorsed driver’s license
Good knowledge of different adhesives or a background in chemical, packaging or wood-working sales is preferred
Knowledge of the different substrates applicable to the adhesive industry
Good knowledge of QA and QC processes
Familiar with trial reports and interpretations
The ability to be able to handle all customers
Able to do country trips
