SUMMARY:
Our client seeking an Industrial Engineer BSc Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high volume production work or FMCG environment maintaining sophisticated machines with automated controls to ensure that plant operational productivity meets the set performance targets.

POSITION INFO:

Conduct, drive & implement plant cost reduction programs

Conduct line balancing and time studies for establishing accurate labour standards in designated areas.

Conduct studies/investigations as assigned by the manager and raise CI projects for them.

Conduct PPR variance analysis and investigations.

Ensure working with the Ware house leader and team for the physical count for top 10 materials on monthly basis and total physical count on quarterly basis.

Investigates, analyses and actions solutions to relevant problems identified.

Assist in drawing up a plant ongoing productivity plan.

Monitoring of performance against set standards and recommend corrective action when vital.

Manage all studies of capacities and utilization for all production lines and lead the preparation for COS preparation for Factory capacities

Lead and manage the consolidation of KPI reports on monthly basis to division and for GSC among both Canelands and Boksburg.

Assist on root cause and action plans to improve the overall performance of the plants and increase AU for both Canelands and Boksburg.

Drives improvements in AU, reduction of UPDT and ensures 100% production adherence.
