Engineering vacancy available!! Our well known client in the Automotive industry is looking to employ an Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description
·   Conducting time studies and setting targets for production through standardisation of work.
·   Design, develop and procure dunnage requirements.
·   Generate Process Input Sheets to define process steps and cycle times.
·   Collect data for the development of labour and facility requirements coursing capacity planning.
·   Facilitate jigs & fixtures design and fabrication.
·   Improving material handling and ergonomics in all production processes.
·   BOM / cycle time audits and Process Input changes
·   Develop packaging and standardised work instructions sheets.
·   Conduct production trials and studies through activity sampling.
·   Process training and implementation at shopfloor level
·   Closing & tracking of related Corrective Actions and G8Ds
·   Strive for Continuous Improvement through lean manufacturing initiatives.
·   Ensure adherence to project and timing plans in line with the Product development timing programs
·   .Ensure that Industrial Engineering activities are performed to meet project and Quality Planning requirements.
·   To support project implementation and industrialisation of new products and technologies.
·   Provide support of industrial engineering to the manufacturing function.
·   To ensure that accurate process inputs, time studies and line optimisation activities are implemented.
·   Ensure that Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental requirements are met at all stages of process planning and product industrialisation.
·   Continuous improvement in all aspects of Industrial Engineering activities.
·   .The determination of resource and facility requirements.
·   The development and implementation of packaging requirements.
·   Design, development and installation of logistics engineering      processes
Minimum Qualification and Experience
·         BEng Industrial Engineering.
·         National Diploma (S4) Industrial Engineering
·         Five years’ experience in Industrial engineering in the automotive manufacturing environment.
