SUMMARY:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analysing, designing, and improving manufacturing systems and processes to enhance productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance in defence vehicle production operations.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering • 3 plus years' experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments • Experience in vehicle manufacturing, defence, automotive, or aerospace sectors advantageous • Experience with process mapping, workflow optimisation, and production planning • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industrial engineering tools\/software • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Responsibilities: • Analyse and improve manufacturing and assembly processes • Conduct workflow analysis, line balancing, and capacity planning • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives • Develop and implement process improvement strategies • Perform time studies and establish production standards • Optimise material flow, plant layout, and production scheduling • Support new product introduction (NPI) and production readiness • Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports • Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality, and engineering teams
