Information Governance Specialist

SUMMARY:
Are you an expert at information governance? Do you have extensive experience in implementing principles, policies, standards, tools and metrics related to information governance and policy compliance? A well-established institution requires your expertise.

POSITION INFO:

In this role, you will define, communicate and implement compliance standards whilst maintaining data standards

You will work closely with teams in regard to data privacy, data usage and regulatory compliance

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years experience in implementing and supporting Information Governance programs

Minimum of 5 years experience in financial services

Experience working directly with CDO’s and CIO’s to define data governance strategies, identifying value, developing realistic benchmarks and projections

Deep understanding of leading industry external frameworks and methodologies (e.g., DAMA / DMBOK, ARMA, CMMI DMM, etc.)

Exposure to data quality, data governance and master data management technologies

Conducting data maturity assessments

Qualification:

National Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or another quantitative field preferred

Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP Ex)
