SUMMARY:
Infrastructure Engineer (Expert)
Contract: 01 Jan 2026 â 31 Dec 2028
Location: Hybrid - Pretoria

Weâre looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to lead technical architecture and deployment of SSE solutions within our Zero Trust framework.

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements
Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalling, VPNs, identity management, and Zero Trust principles
Familiarity with SASE/SSE, SD-WAN, CASB, ZTNA, SWG
Experience with APIs, monitoring, logging tools
Agile working experience (mandatory)

Bonus Skills:

Network infrastructure project experience
Exposure to cloud/client management systems
Scripting ability

Qualifications

Degree in IT or equivalent experience
3â5+ years in IT infrastructure
Network and SASE/SSE certifications

Role Highlights

Design and implement SSE infrastructure
Develop automation scripts and workflows
Integrate monitoring/logging systems
Ensure security, compliance, and operational support
Provide documentation, training, and technical guidance
Collaborate with teams and support PoCs, RFIs/RFQs
Troubleshoot network/security incidents
