As the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the organisation's core infrastructure environment, ensuring business-critical systems remain secure, highly available, and capable of supporting future growth. You'll lead a small technical team, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to strategic infrastructure initiatives while remaining actively involved in technical decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping infrastructure strategy, enhancing operational resilience, and driving continuous improvement across the technology landscape. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure environments to ensure availability, performance, and reliability Oversee virtualisation platforms, server environments, and enterprise storage solutions Design, implement, and support network infrastructure, including connectivity and resilience solutions Manage network security controls, firewalls, and infrastructure protection initiatives Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies Lead infrastructure-related troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical incidents Guide, mentor, and support technical team members to ensure high performance and knowledge growth Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers Oversee infrastructure change management processes and risk assessments Produce infrastructure reporting, performance metrics, and capacity planning insights for management Job Experience and Skills Required: Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related field advantageous Industry certifications in infrastructure, networking, virtualisation, security, or disaster recovery beneficial Minimum 10 years' experience within enterprise IT infrastructure environments Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams Strong background managing large-scale infrastructure, networking, and security environments Experience handling critical incidents and complex technical troubleshooting Advanced server administration and virtualisation expertise Strong knowledge of enterprise storage and SAN technologies Solid networking experience, including LAN, WAN, routing, and switching Firewall and network security management capabilities Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions Knowledge of modern security practices and endpoint protection technologies Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical execution Strong leadership and team development skills Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities Commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions Apply now!
