Overview of the role.
Our client is looking for a Senior/Lead Project/Programme manager who has extensive experience with migration from Siebel billing system to Salesforce billing systems. The successful incumbent will have 10 – 15 years project management experience in the Telecom Industry (Essential)

POSITION INFO:
Aim of the Role
Build and manage the infrastructure projects in the client environment. The aim of this role will be to manage the delivery of infrastructure capacity to support the continued operation of business and to deliver additional capability to support a range of business projects. It will entail engagement with stakeholders technical and non-technical, internal and external.
 
Key Responsibilities

• To manage the delivery of the project and environments from request through to operational. This will include ensuring that the project is correctly specified, delivered on time, meet’s business & technical requirements and is within the agreed budget.
• To establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders. This will include technical, operational and project staff in other divisions, as well as third parties.
• To understand high-level technical architecture and be able to facilitate debate and drive decisions on appropriate solutions.
• To contribute infrastructure projects to the overall portfolio and delivery planning.
• To ensure that operational workflow requirements are produced to standard in a timely manner.
• To monitor and manage the project processes and ensure that any elements which fail in the workflow are remedied.

• To anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project.
• To use best practice risk management, assessing risks in an informed and considered manner and to plan for the mitigation of these risks.

• 10 – 15 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the telecom industry (not negotiable)
• Extensive knowledge of Siebel (Essential)
• Salesforce systems experience (Advantageous)
• Must have successfully integrated systems from Siebel to any other application
• Good understanding of Architecture frameworks.
