Infrastructure - System Engineer

• Matric
• Qualified to graduate level

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Participate to the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure
• Assist and collaborate to the overall infrastructure and datacentre operations
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and in coordination with the Head of Infrastructure
• Work closely with other team members to achieve projects and address customer requests
• Assist in any Infrastructure (Data Centre, Network and Security) related work, including monitoring
• Troubleshoot systems to establish root cause analysis
• Provide creative solutions to reoccurring problems and capacity demands
• Design standard operation procedures and knowledge articles (KB) for Service Delivery and colleagues
• Participate in the overall success of the infrastructure team and act as a key member of the team
• Provide support and insights to colleagues, train junior members with a constructive attitude
• Assist with common day to day administration of servers, storage, network, and security systems
• Participate to out-of-business hours infrastructure maintenance and emergency support for critical

incidents
