Injection Molding General Manager (International - Saudi Arabia)

SUMMARY:
The Injection Molding General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the injection molding department at our Saudi Arabia facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality on time production throughput. This role encompasses good communication, managing day-to-day operations, continuous improvement, process optimization, technical management, process adherence, team leadership, development of staff, preventive maintenance oversight, through managing key KPI’s for all team members. The manager will lead a team of shift managers, supervisors, technicians, maintenance, planning and logistics staff and operators to achieve quality standards, production goals, and operational standards. The Molding General Manager will support the company’s objectives for customer satisfaction, cost control, and operational excellence.

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Recognized certifications in injection molding technology, lean manufacturing, or project management are advantageous.

• 5+ years of experience in injection molding or automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in management.
• Proven track record in managing high-volume production and achieving performance targets.
• Experience with automotive manufacturing standards, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.

• Lead, plan, and manage daily injection molding operations to meet production schedules, quality targets, and cost objectives.
• Monitor production performance, address deviations, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth production flow.
• Lead and manage all personnel and disciplines within the molding business.

• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and optimize cycle times.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and corrective actions.

• Provide expert guidance on molding processes, materials, tooling, and equipment capabilities.
• Oversee setup, start-up, and changeover activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal output.
• Approve and monitor process parameters to maintain product quality and consistency.

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with the Quality Department to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with automotive manufacturing standards (ISO, IATF 16949, etc.).

• Partner with the Maintenance Department to ensure molding machines, tools, and auxiliary equipment are maintained to world class standards through Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation.
• Support preventive maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime.

• Manage, coach, and develop the molding team to achieve operational goals and maintain high engagement.
• Conduct performance reviews and implement training plans and performance measurement for all staff in the department.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.

• Enforce safety policies, conduct regular audits, and ensure a safe working environment.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
