JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly-analytical claims specialist to join our company’s insurance department based in Roodepoort, Johannesburg The chosen candidate will be professional, highly-analytical, and possess in-depth knowledge of the latest policies and regulations in the insurance industry

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Grade 12, Math essential
Degree with good academic record (Law degree would be beneficial)
MS Word and Outlook
Knowledge in Claims policies and Regulations in the insurance industry

Duties include but not limited to:

Administering of claims and opening of files
Day to day self-management of claims
Appointing assessor and authorising same
Directing claims input on systems
Ensure appropriate controls are in place for valid claims settlement
Managing repudiations, insuring fairness and diplomatic communication
Application of Policy terms and conditions
Ad Hoc Projects

Salary market related and will be discussed in the interview
