Insurance Sales Consultants/New Business Development Consultants – Personal Lines Durban

Minimum requirements:
Grade 12 essential
NQF4 Short Term Insurance qualification advantageous
Relevant FAIS accreditation as set by the FSCA preferred
RE5 preferred
Up-to-date Class of Business and relevant CPD points preferred
2-3years’ experience in new business development essential
Proven experience in new business development, and selling short-term insurance products advantageous
Own reliable transport and a valid drivers license essential

Responsibilities:
Personal Lines Insurance (Motor and non-motor insurance products) new business development
Source lead generating opportunities to ensure a minimum of 10 quotes/week or 40 quotes/month
11 written policies required/month
Manage lead generation process via group presentations, one on one consultations, corporate events, advertising and networking
Needs analysis once quote is requested
Product and competitor comparisons
Reporting on leads, quotes, sales, source of leads, premium, etc
