JOB DESCRIPTION:

One of South Africa’s well-known banking companies is seeking an Integration Architect to join their team and assist with business growth. The Integration Architect will be responsible for working with both business and product teams and assisting with creating platform solutions. They are based in Johannesburg with a fully in-office working module.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related Degree.
At least 8 years’ experience as a Platform Architect with expert knowledge of design, containers, bench-marking, deployment architecture and network engineering.
At least 4 years’ experience in DevOps, SRE, systems and software development roles.
Experience in defining SRE roadmaps for organizations.
Good experience in public cloud technologies and solutions like Azure.
Experience in IAC tools like Terraform and Gitlab.
Experience in Ansible, Chef and Packer configuration management tools.
Experience in Kubernetes and Docker container technologies.
Advanced experience in Linux operating system, tools and database management (MySQL).
Experience in monitoring tools like new Relic and OpsRamp.
Experience in Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana – log management and ELK Stack.
Experience in build tools like Jenkins.

Job & Company Description:

Deep understanding of scalability techniques and processes.
Good understanding of microservice architectures, databases, networks and application servers.
Working experience in cloud computing, Linux, Windows, Data Schema, code design, integration and network design.
Expert working experience in application architecture, application design, data integration and application integration.
Experience in working with C#, Java, T-SQL, JavaScript and C/ C++.
Knowledge of web service standards.
Understanding of enhancements operational control and reporting through instrumentation techniques.
