POSITION INFO:

Role Description:
Integration specialist jointly responsible for the successful implementation of BluJay Parcel Platform across multiple South African business units that is scalable globally. This role assumes responsibility for all IT integrations into andout of BluJay TMS, including creating integration specifications and mappings between the TMS platform and the existing application landscape via a highly structured integration architecture to ensure a high degree of modularitywith loose coupling and enterprise class fault tolerance.
The Integration Specialist works closely with the Road IT Integration/Architecture manager, the BCM lead and the Product Configuration teams to ensure the defined business processes are supported and the businessrequirements are satisfied. Also works closely with the Global Integration team to ensure all software integrations are implemented utilizing a standard set of enterprise integration and data mapping tools and techniques.
There will be a substantial amount of integration to the company systems such as SAP SD, SAP ERP, Document Management Systems, other TMS’s etc. There will also be a significant amount of integration to a variety of client IT systems.

Tertiary Qualification(s)

There are several educational backgrounds which could be ideal for the position. The following should represent thegreater part of the selected candidates background:

• A Bachelor or Master in IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Certification in enterprise integration platforms (BizTalk, IBM MQ, Sterling Integrator etc.)
• Certifications in Agile, SCRUM and other development techniques
• An education or certification in ITIL would be a bonus.
• An education or certification in project management (Prince 2 or similar) would be preferable

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience in the IT industry of which minimum 3 years in a Technical / Integration Specialist role.
• Experience with logistics related IT systems (BluJay or other Transport Management Systems)
• Demonstrable experience with project management and project management methodologies (Prince2 andAgile/SCRUM)
• Solid track record of implementations of integration projects.
• Knowledge and/or practical experience within the Transportation section is preferable

Other Minimum Requirements

• Own vehicle and drivers license
• Ability and willingness to work long hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
