SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an Intermediate BI Developer (Data Scientist) to support the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence solutions. The successful candidate will leverage tools such as AWS QuickSight and Power BI to transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling smarter decision-making across the business.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight and Power BI
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability within BI models and reports
Analyse trends, patterns, and anomalies to support business and operational decisions
Optimise data models and visualizations for performance and usability
Assist with automation of reporting processes and integration of analytics solutions with cloud platforms

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
Hands-on experience with AWS QuickSight and Power BI
Strong data modelling, visualisation, and analytical skills
Experience working with relational databases and SQL
Understanding of ETL concepts and data integration
Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
Qualification and certifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, PowerBI, AWS Certified Data Analytics, etc.
Experience working with AWS data tools advantageous
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis will be an advantage
