About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate Front-End Developer to join a team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly interactive, user-focused web applications. You will work closely with a collaborative development team, under the mentorship of Senior Developers, to build and maintain clean, modern, and responsive front-end solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain user-facing features in line with functional requirements.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and users to ensure technical feasibility and seamless user experience.
Integrate with RESTful APIs, ensuring performance and data consistency.
Conduct U/X updates, modifications, and enhancements.
Write clean, testable code.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across the system development life cycle.
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Minimum Requirements

A degree in IT or related field (specializing in software development).
3+ years’ experience in front-end development with technologies such as Vue.js, React, Java, CSS, and DHTML.
2+ years’ experience in JavaScript.
1+ year experience with Microsoft DevOps and working in an Agile environment.
Experience with:
- Modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Microsoft SQL
- Writing scripts
- RESTful APIs and related libraries
- Responsive design principles
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
