SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking an Intermediate Java Developer to join our team and help drive backend development for our core applications and services.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

âª Design, develop, and maintain scalable Spring Boot applications.
âª Use JPA/Hibernate for efficient and secure database interactions (MSSQL & MySQL).
âª Contribute to the development of GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
âª Develop UI components using JSF (PrimeFaces), with the opportunity to work on Angular projects (optional).
âª Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
âª Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
âª Troubleshoot issues and support existing applications to ensure high availability and performance.
âª Use Bitbucket (Git) for source control and JIRA for task tracking.
âª Use Maven for dependency management and build automation.

Required Qualifications
âª Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
âª 2–3 years of hands-on Java development experience, including Spring Boot.
âª Practical experience using JPA/Hibernate with relational databases (MSSQL and/or MySQL).
âª Exposure to GraphQL and REST API development.
âª Familiarity with JSF (PrimeFaces) and/or willingness to learn front-end technologies.
âª Experience using Git (Bitbucket) and JIRA in a team environment.
âª Understanding of Agile software development principles.
âª Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
âª Excellent communication skills with different stakeholders.
âª Eagerness to grow and learn from peers.
âª Strong work ethic to meet client expectations.

Preferred
âª Exposure to Angular or modern front-end frameworks.
âª Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps concepts.
âª Experience with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
âª Knowledge of testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
âª Exposure to ESRI/ArcGIS.
