SUMMARY:
Well known Inbound DMC is looking for an Intermediate Operations Specialist for the Owned Brands division.

The role is to support the full operations in the booking process, as a support to the Travel Designers and being the first line in relationships with suppliers and administration of the entire backend of each booking made by The Journey Designers as well as to secure the booking with all services providers including travel designers accurately, efficiently, timeously and with zero errors.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Liaise with Travel Designers / Reservations Specialists and Concierge on all bookings in an operational capacity
Communicate continuous with suppliers and internal sales support teams which includes trust and excellent support
Keep all booking information updated in the system ensuring CRM is continually up to date. Add all special requests from the agents
Keep updated with all product updates, as well as technology updates
Attend all training on a weekly basis, this knowledge facilitates exceeding expectations and accuracy in the booking process
Keep abreast with company policies, procedures and system updates

Requirements:

Matric certificate
Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality
Computer Literate (Microsoft Office, email, Internet)
Proven English literacy.
General destination knowledge on Southern or East Africa.
Personal or educational travel experience advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail.
Foreign language skills advantageous
