JOB SUMMARY:
Intermediate Project Manager - Centurion

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Purpose: Ensure delivery of business solutions by managing projects throughout the project and delivery lifecycle in close collaboration with internal- and external parties where dependencies exist.

Experience and Qualifications:

vProject Management Qualification – Essential.

vRelevant B-Degree – Desirable.

vMin of 5 years'' experience managing projects in a diverse environment (essential).

vInsurance industry experience (desirable).

vExperience in / or exposure to AGILE methodologies/ Lean Thinking will be beneficial i.e. scrum master role.

vIT Project experience will be an advantage.

Knowledge:

vMicrosoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

vRelevant MS Project / Project Management software.

vProject Management lifecycle, from conception to close-out.

vAgile methodology (preferred).

v

Responsibilities and Work Outputs:

vManage, facilitate, collaborate and co-ordinate the project delivery process with the lifecycle framework.

vDevelop, maintain and distribute relevant project documentation (e.g. the project plan, strategy, scope and objectives).

vMonitor, maintain and report on the project progress.

vDevelop and maintain a relationship with future and existing clients and stakeholders.

vAchieve all project objectives and complete these objectives to the relevant clients'' satisfaction.

vKeep abreast of project management best practices and trends.

vConsult with internal and external stakeholders to pro-actively address issues and risks.

vIdentify and manage dependencies between projects.

vParticipate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service.

vContinuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge.

vContribute to continuous innovation through the development, sharing and implementation of new ideas.

vTake ownership for driving career development.
