SUMMARY:
Our client, a well established supply chain and logistics company, division of a JSE listed Group, seeks an Intermediate-level Developer / Analyst, to work with modern Microsoft development tools and assist in developing reliable modern applications.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience.
Solid experience with:
- C# or VB.Net and .Net Core and .Net Framework
- SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) – procedures, triggers, functions, views.
- Excel.
Strong skills in object-oriented programming, and familiarity with common technologies like C#, Java, or JavaScript.
Good skills in troubleshooting and debugging across multiple environments.

Additional Experience Required:

Visual Basic .Net
Team Foundation Server or GIT
Xamarin and MAUI development
ASP.Net and MVVC web applications
Crystal Reports
SQL Server Analysis Services and Integration Services
Microsoft Biztalk and EDI concepts
K2 Workflows and SmartForms (Nintex Automation)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the IT Executive:

Work with senior development resources to re-architect the existing applications to C# and Azure containerised deployment.
Assist in the development of mobile applications.
Handle change- and bug-requests from the helpdesk-system and provide efficient solutions
Analyse business requirements and transform them into functional and technical design.
Support of existing:
- MAUI, Xamarin and ASP.Net MVVC applications
- .Net Framework multi-tier applications using Vb.Net
- SQL Server objects

Technical Proficiency:

Maintain and modify existing applications.
Provide design documents and documentation.
Ability to participate in the entire software development life cycle.
Problem-solving and design.

Competencies:

Time management.
Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work.
Good communication skills.
