Intermediate and Senior Phase Educator with remedial/LSEN experience

SUMMARY:
Intermediate and Senior Phase Educator (with remedial and LSEN experience) wanted for a new school in Kyalami. Immediate Start.
Must be able to teach Maths and English

POSITION INFO:
A new school in Kyalami is looking for a passionate educator to join our team who passionately believes in no child being left behind. 

Please note the school will be launching in Jan 2022 and asistance is needed for a small handful of children. 

Requirements:
Fully qualified -  Intermediate and Senior Phase B.Ed
Experience with remedial learners advantageous
Must be able to teach Maths, English and Science
SACE registered

Reliable, energetic, creative , willing to grow with the school and be actively involved in driving a new curriculum
Personable and passionate
Able to work very closely with individual learners and parents so as encourage, mentor and support learners with their educational goals
Be able to build as well as deliver tailored, exciting and creative lesson plans
Additional demonstrable skills and talents in fields such as the arts/drawing/painting, drama/theatre/poetry, crafts/artisanal crafts, needlework, technical drawing, woodwork/carpentry, electronics, music instruments, coding etc

Responsibilities:
Teaching 11-14 year olds with mild or moderate learning disabilities.
Assess students'' abilities and adapt material accordingly
Monitor students'' behavioural patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
Collaborate with support staff such as counsellors and therapists
Source and deliver engaging activities so as to teach learners employable skills
