Develop features for wired and wireless communication interfaces, including protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Interface embedded devices with peripherals and external systems, ensuring robust hardware-software integration. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to commission new devices and support product development from prototype to production. Debug and resolve issues related to embedded software, firmware, communication timing, protocol behaviour, and hardware interactions. Contribute to software architecture, uphold code quality, and adhere to engineering best practices. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design notes, interface specifications, and test procedures. Participate in code reviews, root-cause analysis, and continuous process improvements. Support validation activities and field issue investigations using logs, traces, and bench-based testing. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in embedded software development. Proficiency in C and C++. Solid understanding of embedded architecture and hardware interfacing. Experience with debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems. Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Ability to work in a hybrid work environment. Strong documentation and team collaboration skills. Familiarity with the following: Development tools and embedded software architectures.
