Gijima is recruiting 1 x Technical Intern to provide support in their SCCM, Intune and Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop environment

POSITION INFO:
The criteria is as follows:- Candidates must have completed a 3-year tertiary qualification in IT (i.e. National Diploma or degree) with knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop, MEMCM\/Intune, Configuration Management and IT operations International Certifications will be advantageous (Azure Administrator, Virtual Desktop) Candidates must have no criminal record. Candidates must currently be unemployed. Candidates must currently NOT be enrolled at a tertiary institution. Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program. Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) - relocation is NOT an option; Candidates must be under the age of 35 as of 01 July 2026 Candidates must be a South African Citizen (African, Indian and Coloured); Competencies\/Skills Required: - Clear understand of Azure Virtualisation Good understanding of Azure Logic app automation Solid and proven PowerShell Scripting Microsoft Configuration Manager Infrastructure Support Proven Modern Desktop Management toolset technology experience Active Directory Group Policy creation and troubleshooting Good working knowledge of Networking - TCP\/IP (Configuration of Client, Client Troubleshooting) Responsibilities: - Part of a team that supports multiple platforms (SCCM, Intune & Azure Virtual Desktop) Implement, configure, maintain, and continuously enhance Modern Desktop management toolsets Develop and implement automative scripts, utilities, and reports to enhance maturity of environment Scope of responsibilities can shift to where urgent needs are Candidates who have received no feedback on their application by 31 August 2026 should consider their application unsuccessful.
