The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Internal Audit that aligns with Internal Audit’s departmental strategy
Contribute to Internal Audit’s departmental strategic planning
Provide support and/or technical expertise to the Head: Internal Audit
Contribute to the maturing of Enterprise Risk Management by identifying risks that could impact the business
Leverage technology opportunities
Responsible for operational delivery of the Internal Audit strategy
Responsible for implementation of effective communication channels to ensure team communication and understanding of departmental processes
Accountable for management of the team
Relationship and stakeholder Management

Education:

Honours Degree in Commerce / Internal Auditing
Certificate in Internal Auditing (CIA) or Chartered Accountant (SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

10 years’ internal audit experience
5 years’ managerial experience in financial services
